At PNO Innovation, we are seeking an Innovation Consultant to drive our energy and environment initiatives. In this role, you'll support the development of EU funding proposals, contribute to business development and network expansion, and help organize key events with industry partners.

As an Innovation Consultant, you will support the full range of PNO services by working closely with stakeholders and partners to design, develop, and execute innovative EU grant applications. Your role is crucial in expanding our network, refining business strategies, and ensuring our proposals achieve the highest quality and impact.

Your tasks 1st part (in max 4 bullets)

Assist in identifying new business opportunities and strategic partners within the energy and environment sectors.
Support the writing and conceptualization of high-quality EU grant proposals aligned with funding priorities.
Participate actively in EU-funded projects from concept initiation to the delivery of official project deliverables.
Contribute to comprehensive market and stakeholder analyses to guide proposal development.

Help organize workshops, business planning sessions, and strategy meetings to drive project innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine project concepts and ensure technical and commercial feasibility.
Expand and nurture a robust network of industry stakeholders and partners.
Stay updated on industry trends and share insights to continuously improve our innovation processes.

Your profile 1st part (in max 4 bullets)

Hold a technical master’s degree or PhD (e.g., chemistry, material sciences, engineering) with a focus on emerging energy topics such as batteries, hydrogen, or renewable energies.
Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in grant writing with a proven track record of successful EU funding proposals.
Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, including developing business plans, economic analysis, LCA, and LCC.
Strong analytical skills and exceptional organizational abilities with proactive attention to detail.
