At PNO Innovation, we are seeking an Innovation Consultant to drive our energy and environment initiatives. In this role, you'll support the development of EU funding proposals, contribute to business development and network expansion, and help organize key events with industry partners.

As an Innovation Consultant, you will support the full range of PNO services by working closely with stakeholders and partners to design, develop, and execute innovative EU grant applications. Your role is crucial in expanding our network, refining business strategies, and ensuring our proposals achieve the highest quality and impact.

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and strategic partners within the energy and environment sectors.

  • Support the writing and conceptualization of high-quality EU grant proposals aligned with funding priorities.

  • Participate actively in EU-funded projects from concept initiation to the delivery of official project deliverables.

  • Contribute to comprehensive market and stakeholder analyses to guide proposal development.

  • Help organize workshops, business planning sessions, and strategy meetings to drive project innovation.

  • Hold a technical master’s degree or PhD (e.g., chemistry, material sciences, engineering) with a focus on emerging energy topics such as batteries, hydrogen, or renewable energies.

  • Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in grant writing with a proven track record of successful EU funding proposals.

  • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, including developing business plans, economic analysis, LCA, and LCC.

  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional organizational abilities with proactive attention to detail.

Vous êtes chargé(e) de concevoir et de coordonner des projets européens axés sur la durabilité énergétique et environnementale. Vous accompagnez clients et partenaires (entreprises, universités, pouvoirs publics) dans le montage de propositions et contribuez activement au conseil stratégique et à la mise en œuvre des projets.

  • Co-construire des idées de projets avec les clients et partenaires européens.

  • Réaliser des analyses de marché, de politiques publiques et des parties prenantes.

  • Rédiger des plans d’affaires, stratégies d’exploitation et rapports techniques.

  • Organiser et animer des ateliers de co-création et des réunions de consortium.

  • Encadrer les consultants juniors et contribuer au partage interne des connaissances.

  • Gérer les relations avec les clients et garantir un service de qualité.

  • Rester informé(e) des tendances en technologies vertes, politiques climatiques et financements européens.

Votre profil

  • Diplôme de master (ou doctorat) en ingénierie, environnement, énergie, chimie ou domaine connexe.

  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience pertinente dans le développement de projets européens ou le conseil en financement.

  • Expérience confirmée dans la rédaction de propositions Horizon Europe, LIFE, ou équivalents.

  • Excellentes compétences rédactionnelles et organisationnelles.

Your Profile (2nd part)

  • Très bonne maîtrise de l’anglais (niveau C1) ; le néerlandais et/ou le français est un atout.

  • Intérêt marqué pour la transition énergétique, l’économie circulaire et la durabilité.

  • Esprit structuré, proactif et orienté client.

  • À l’aise avec la gestion de projets complexes et le respect des délais.

Jouw profiel

  • Master- of doctoraatsdiploma in ingenieurswetenschappen, milieuwetenschappen, energie, chemie of aanverwante richting.

  • 3–5 jaar relevante ervaring met EU-projectontwikkeling of subsidieadvies.

  • Ervaring met het schrijven van voorstellen voor Horizon Europe, LIFE of andere EU-programma’s.

  • Sterke schrijfvaardigheden en projectcoördinatiecapaciteiten.

  • Uitstekende kennis van het Engels (C1); Nederlands en/of Frans is een plus.

  • Interesse in energietransitie, circulaire economie en duurzaamheid.
